VEXEDNOTION

Vexed Notion curates and creates work at the intersection of visual composition and experimental sound. Abstract canvases carry the residue of motion—layered, scraped, and instinctively formed. In parallel, sonic structures emerge from distortion and restraint, where rhythm becomes architecture and noise is sculpted with intent.

Bound by a shared affinity for tension, the studio’s output explores contrast across mediums: texture and frequency, gesture and structure. Each piece offers a dialogue between clarity and erosion, presence and decay.

A shifting studio of expression—where image and sound, surface and rhythm, collide.

Compositions unfold in deliberate contrast: raw canvases layered with gestural tension, sonic structures shaped by intensity and erosion. The language is minimal, the output maximal—each work a residue of impulse and atmosphere.

Vexed Notion operates in states of ambiguity and refinement. What emerges is neither product nor performance, but evidence of process—paint, texture, and sound as living material. Brutal yet fragile, vast yet intimate, every output resists easy definition. Instead, it signals presence, impermanence, and the shape of what’s still forming.
